At the Kjafasan border crossing, on the Albanian-Macedonian border, police officers prevented the smuggling of 53.3 kilograms of marijuana, whose final destination was Macedonia.
As part of the police operation, 46-year-old Elton Grabocka, a resident of Korcha, was arrested, who was driving the Volkswagen type vehicle where he hid the drugs divided into several packages. The quantity of drugs, the vehicle and two mobile phones were seized as material evidence, reads the police press release.
The press release adds that the investigation is continuing in cooperation with the Macedonian colleagues, for the complete clarification of the case and the arrest of other persons who are suspected to be involved.
