The President of Serbia AleksandarVučićcongratulated GordanaSiljanovska-Davkova on her victory in the second round of the presidential elections in North Macedonia.
“Congratulations to GordanaSiljanovskaDavkova on her election as the president of North Macedonia and I wish her to successfully carry out the responsible duty she undertakes. I am convinced that we will continue to work together to strengthen the ties between Serbia and Macedonia for the purpose of the progress and well-being of our people, as well as the prosperity of the entire region,” said Vučić.
Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also congratulated VMRO-DPMNE and GordanaSiljanovska-Davkova on the election victory, adding that he looks forward to future joint cooperation.
“We congratulate VMRO-DPMNE, HristijanMickoski and GordanaSiljanovski-Davkova for the well-deserved and historic victory in the presidential and parliamentary elections! I look forward to working together to give a new impetus to the process of accession of North Macedonia to the EU!” Orbánsaid in a social media post.
Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković has also congratulated VMRO-DPMNE leader HristijanMickoski and GordanaSiljanovska-Davkova over their wins at the parliamentary and presidential elections.
Other statesmen from the region also sent their congratulatory messages.
