The Macedonian Association “Ilinden” based in Tirana, on behalf of its members and Macedonians in Albania, sent a congratulatory message to the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, on the occasion of the double election victory, in the presidential and parliamentary elections.
“Our homeland Macedonia once again showed its maturity by holding peaceful and democratic elections. Macedonian citizens chose who will lead them in the next four years. VMRO-DPMNE, which you successfully manage, has made a huge step forward, you have huge support from Macedonians from the Republic of Albania,” reads the message.
“Because the progress and grace of the Macedonian people is an incentive for perseverance in the efforts to nurture and promote the Macedonian national, linguistic, cultural and spiritual identity of the Macedonians in the neighborhood,” added the Macedonian Association.
