Constitutional Court president reports verbal threats

On Saturday at noon, near the Ramstore Shopping Center in the center of Skopje, an unknown person verbally threatened the president of the Constitutional Court Dobrila Kacarska, after which her security intervened.

According to the police, a 57-year-old man V.P.G. from Bogdanci addressed the judge with the threatening words “you will be held accountable, you will be held accountable terribly”. The person was detained at the police station and after the complete documentation of the case, in coordination with the public prosecutor, a criminal complaint will be filed against him under Article 144 of the Criminal Code.

The Constitutional Court confirmed that the court’s president Kacarska reported a verbal attack and threat to security at the police station on Saturday. Several witnesses gave a statement about the incident to the police.
