The message that consistent and full observance of the Prespa Agreement is necessary was once again repeated by the Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis in an interview with the Greek newspaper Realnews, and he expressed the belief that “the citizens of North Macedonia would not want to jeopardize the relations with Greece and the European perspective of the country”.

Regarding the three memorandums that have not yet been ratified in the Greek Parliament, Gerapetritis said that “they will adopt them at the appropriate political moment” and reiterated that ratification depends on the “consistent and full implementation of the Prespa Agreement”, because apart from the issue of the constitutional name, there are and other substantive unresolved issues.”
