A family of four in the country needed MKD 60.090 to cover the minimal consumer basket in May, which is a drop of MKD 122 compared to April, said the Federation of Trade Union (SSM) on Tuesday.
According to the SSM calculations, most of the funds of each average family goes to food, or MKD 21,689 per month.
Compared with the value of the union minimum basket for the month of April, which is MKD 60,212, the latter has decreased by MKD 122. As they add from SSM, with a rented apartment of 60 square meters, for the month of April the basket “weighs” MKD 75,465.
