SDSM deputy leader Sanja Lukarevska says the postponed party congress that began yesterday but was later adjourned would take place on June 30, namely prior to the intra-party elections of a new leader.

The congress will be held very soon. There is a special working group that works on the accountable congress. In addition to the report, we have many other items on the agenda to discuss. I can only say one thing in the end – the SDSM Congress is a democratic principle and every delegate can say what he thinks there and I hope that there will be fewer critics and more well-intentioned critics,” Lukarevska said.

Lukarevska says that it is common for the party leader to address the congress first, which Kovachevski already did.
