Kavadarci Wine Museum and Museum Gallery Saturday evening promoted the book “Vatasha”, on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the shooting of 12 Vatasha youths by the then Bulgarian fascist occupier. It is a dramatic oratorio by playwright Zoran Pejkovski.

“It is based on last year’s work “Memoirs – Remembrance” published by the Wine Museum, which in turn represents a kind of reconstruction of the events before and after that fateful day June 16, 1943, based on the testimonies of close friends, relatives and fellow party members,” said director of the Wine Museum Vesela Chestoeva, thanking the Kavadarci mayor and the Municipal Council.
