The state advisor for crisis management DragiTarchugovski stated that the air tractors are correct, but non-operational due to the lack of pilots in the state. Managed by the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, he recommended that more detailed information be sought from them.
“As far as I know, the so-called air tractors are now functional but they cannot be operational because at the moment, in the country, we do not have employed pilots to manage them. They are managed by the Directorate for Protection and Rescue (SSO), so you should contact them in more detail,” said DragiTarchugovski, the state advisor for the organization and functioning of the Crisis Management System in response to a media question.
Tarchugoski stresses that they are missing everywhere in the world, above all in Europe. The Mediterranean countries, he emphasized, have constantly open contests for pilots for air tractors. They are always open, he added, and they are much richer than us.
