Macedonia is our home, and our common fortress. And we have to overcome every division with reason and wisdom. None of our differences is greater than the motivation to succeed, and I have no qualms about that. The hour is coming when the motherland should do more for every single citizen! Every single one of you, Macedonian, Albanian, Turkish, Serbian, Roma, Vlachs, Bosniaks and all the rest, each of you, did everything for your homeland, VMRO-DPMNE leader and Prime Minister-designate Hristian Mickoski said during his address to the Parliament.
“The citizen was always there when it was most needed for the homeland. He voted in the referendum for independence, worked hard, regularly settled his obligations to it, paid taxes, worked, contributed to life.
Earlier, in history, our citizens had other, but also similar existential challenges, and then as now the citizens were loyal to the state and did everything to make it free, independent, strong and prosperous.
Along the way, there were a lot of disappointments and strong challenges, but the citizens of this country persisted, and carried themselves with all the developments proudly and on their feet.
Our main goal is to restore trust in state government institutions, eliminate corruption and ensure the rule of law,” Mickoski said.
