The VMRO-DPMNE-led government prevented an increase in the price of electricity, a price shock that SDS and DUI left behind. The government proposed, and the parliamentary majority passed, the Law on Supplementing the Law on Energy, which prevented an increase in the price of electricity from July 1 for households and small consumers who are on the regulated market.

Under SDS and DUI’s rule, the electricity price has increased by 50% in the past 7 years. Every year there was an increase. That practice was prevented by the VMRO-DPMNE government.

No more galloping electricity price hikes. Citizens can rest assured, said the ruling party in a press release.
