Macedonian Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska held a working meeting on Tuesday with the newly appointed directors of the Public Revenue Office (PRO) Elena Petrova and the Customs Administration Boban Nikolovski.
“This is the first meeting we are holding with the heads of the PRO and the Customs as key institutions in the collection of revenues in the Budget. We are laying the foundations of work and the method of mutual cooperation in order to efficiently collect income and efficiently manage the taxpayers’ money,” said the Minister of Finance.
It was established at the meeting that the most important thing is the raising of institutional capacities, investment in human capital and digitization of processes. In this way, efficiency in operations, delivery of quality services to citizens and businesses and higher rates of economic growth will be achieved.
