Some of the private buses in the Skopje public city transport are looking for financing so that they can continue to serve the citizens with their vehicles. Until Friday, as a warning, they will drive only until 10 am, and then they will decide what to do next.
As the private bus companies say, since January 2024, when they took only part of the funds, they have not been paid for the service they provide.
Some of them had a meeting with the JSP Skopje director, who has now been dismissed and who promised them that the arrears will be gradually paid, as well as that by September he will fully pay off the debt. At the moment they do not have any announcement about what happens after his dismissal.
