Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski says that improving education, the educational process and educational infrastructure, as well as improving the standard of students is the main priority of the Government and announced that they will work in that direction as before, because, as he said, education is a fundamental value of every country. He also announced that in that direction in the coming period there will be more positive surprises for young people and students.
“We are finishing the student campuses. We are starting to build new ones. I think the tender has already been announced. Those two buildings that are currently undergoing redesign and that are a shame of a time, so to speak, will also be completed. Those are the two buildings – FINKI and the Faculty of Physical Education, said Prime Minister Mickoski in response to a reporter’s question on what else the Government is doing to improve the living standards of students besides building new universities.
Education, the PM emphasizes, is a fundamental value of a country and we should work to create the best possible conditions.
“Education is a fundamental value of a country. We are improving the standard of students, in addition to the vouchers we have given for electronic devices, there are also funds provided for the regular issuance of scholarships, for student meals, etc. So, young people are in the focus of this Government and in the coming period that will follow, we will have even more good positive surprises for young people and students,” said PM Mickoski, quizzed by reporters after the cornerstone laying ceremony for the new campus of Mother Teresa University in Skopje on Saturday.
