Citizens remember very well what the reality was like during the SDS period, when uncertainty was an everyday occurrence. Events in the Middle East make the situation on energy markets dynamic, with prices varying from hour to hour, VMRO-DPMNE said in a press release Monday.
“The Government is working tirelessly to ensure energy stability. The goal is for Macedonia to have energy at the cheapest prices in the region, even despite global pressures that indicate possible price increases. For example, in neighboring countries, prices are 40, 50, and even 60 percent higher,” the ruling party pointed out.
“Therefore, the Government held a meeting with representatives of the oil industry, in order to coordinate measures and take all possible steps. The opposition, on the other hand, uses empty platitudes and deals with everything except what is necessary, but this is not unexpected because their practice so far shows that they do not understand, nor have they shown that they know how to deal with a crisis,” reads the press release.
