If we compare what we as a Government did with what happened in Crans Montana in Switzerland, I can say that we reacted several times better. In all parameters and in all comparisons, believe it or not, the Macedonian system and institutions reacted better than the system and institutions in Switzerland, Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said in response to a media question related to the tragedy in the Pulse nightclub, during his visit to Kochani o Friday.
“When one makes a comparison of bad events, one acts in a necrophiliac manner and I do not want to act that way, but I will give a full answer to your question,” the Prime Minister previously noted.
Mickoski expressed regret for the large number of victims in Kochani and pointed out that regardless of the institutional reaction, human lives cannot be returned.
“Unfortunately, there is no way to bring back those who are no longer with us. But from the point of view of systemic reaction, when we compare that event with the one in the disco in Crans Montana, the Macedonian system and institutions reacted better than the system and institutions in Switzerland,” the PM underlined.
Starting Saturday, March 14, the three-day program begins with which Kochani will mark one year since the terrible tragedy in the Pulse nightclub, that claimed 63 lives, one ambulance driver died as a result of overworking, and 211 were injured, 157 of whom suffered serious injuries.
