A year has passed, and the wounds not only do not heal, but they become deeper and more terrible. The past year has only managed to confront Kochani with the terrible truth that they are gone forever. We could not protect them from death, but we can preserve their memory, let’s remember that we have a company of angels in heaven, who pray for us, and let’s be proud that we had them with us on earth as our children, brothers and sisters, relatives, friends. This was the message from Monday’s commemorative event “Remembrance Day – March 16, 2025” at the “Beli Mugri” Culture Center in Kochani to mark the anniversary of the tragic event.

The song was in their throats when they left and while they were greeted with a song above, only sadness remained … So sing to us, angels Dime Dimitriev, Sara Aleksova, Monika Spasova, Toshe Todorovski, Aleksandar Kolarov, Adrijan Zhivkov, Aleksandar Aleksov, Gorgi Velichkov, Jordancho Dzamov, Ivan Trajchev, Djoko Gorgiev, Aleksandar Gligorovski, Ivan Velichkov, Andrej Stojanov, Ivona Antova, Pavel Hristovski, Nikola Nasevski, Toshe Bogdanov, Ana Koceva, Gordan Petrushov, Igorche Gorgiev, Filip Stevanovski, Tomche Stojanov, Monika Stoimenova, Stojancho Stojanov, Sara Projkovska-Nikolovska, Marija Shopova, Aleksandar Gorgiev, Petar Ivanovski, Bojana Zakova, Matej Markovski, Gorgi Vasilkov, Aleksandar Petrov, Andreja Gorgjievski, Marija Strezoska, Aleksandar Efremov, Lepa Taseva Stojkovska, Igor Velkov, Bozhidar Minov, Martin Atanasovski, Stefanija Sokolova, Tomas Zlatkov, Keti Milkovska, Viktor Jordanov, Andrej Panov, Spiro Stoimenov, Jove Vladimitov, Stefan Tasevski, Ice Andonov, Aleksandar Stojanov, Sanja Hristova, Damjan Taneski, Andrej Lazarov, Dragana Minova, Filip Ivanovski, Sara Jordanova, Leonid Velkov, Nadica Naunova, Dimitar Ivanov and Vladimir Blazev.

May you rest in peace. You will never be forgotten and you will live in our hearts – was the message at the commemoration of the anniversary of the tragedy in the Pulse nightclub.

With silent testimony to the unfulfilled pages of life and the void left behind by future engineers, football players, doctors, photographers, musicians, programmers… the hall at the “Beli Mugri” Cultural Center in Kochani was filled with sadness and tears.

We lost future engineers, doctors, businessmen, teachers, craftsmen, workers, future mothers and fathers. We lost an entire generation of young people, who were supposed to be the future of our country. The tragedy that shook Kochani is a wound for our entire society. It made us all fragile and vulnerable, confronted us with death up close and showed us how thin the line between life and death is, how unpredictable life is and how necessary it is to avoid all evil on earth and pursue good, how important we are to each other in good and bad, it was pointed out at the commemoration.
