The job vacancy rate was 1.58% in the first quarter of 2021, the State Statistical Office data read. The highest number of job vacancies, 2,103, was recorded in the fifth group of occupations – service and sales workers.
The job vacancy rate was highest in section F – construction, 4.98%, while the lowest rate was registered in section D – electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, 0.15%.
Business entities with 3-9 employees had the highest job vacancy rate of 2.39%.
The Skopje Region had the highest job vacancy rate at 1.80%.
