The human remains in the stage of decomposition was found Saturday at around 10:40 a.m. in the village of Zrnovci, at a location known as Gjoshevski Orev, near Zrnovska River, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) reported on Saturday.
The MoI stated that measures were taken immediately after the report to clear up the case.
The Kochani Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) informed that a public prosecutor inspected the scene of the incident, during which it was determined that it was the body of a deceased woman.
“The deceased has not been identified at this time. An autopsy will be ordered, and the causes of death have not yet been determined,” the PPO reported.
The competent institutions are continuing with investigative actions to determine the identity of the woman, as well as the circumstances under which the death occurred.
