The opposition SDSM and its leader VenkoFilipche cannot compare the work of the Government of which he was a part, with the work and measures taken by the current Government, says Macedonian Prime Minister HristijanMickoski. As he pointed out, it will be remembered as the Government that handled the Covid-19 pandemic the worst, after the brutal bribery and changing laws in the eleventh hour before the elections, after burning people alive in the modular hospital, begging for vaccines and commissions from tenders for their procurement.
“I watched the press conference of the SDSM leader yesterday. He referred to the measures that were taken during the Covid-19 crisis and the pandemic and made a difference and comparison of this measure with those measures and what they will be remembered for. But he forgot to say that the only thing they will be remembered for from then on is the fact that as a country we dealt with the Covid pandemic the worst, that is, we had the highest number of deaths per capita compared to all European countries,” said Mickoski in response to a reporter’s question about the criticism from the opposition leader that the Government was not taking enough measures to protect the citizens’ standard of living.
PM Mickoski pointed out that Filipche forgot to mention the measure, which, as he said, involved several tens of millions of euros paid to Stabri, the Hong Kong-based company, which instead of specializing in vaccine procurement, specializes in the citrus fruits trade.
