Macedonian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Cvetan Tripunovski in an interview with the Business 21 show stressed that the system works and that there are no protected persons regardless of their function, speaking in the context of the recent arrest for bribery of the State Inspectorate for Agriculture director Vase Anakiev.
“What is important is that the system works, there are no protected persons from the position of officials, anyone who violates the law will be held accountable regardless of whether they are from the current government or from any position, and this is the case with these two cases,” the minister pointed out.
Tripunovski said that every case of bribery and corruption should be reported immediately and without fear.
“I would like to encourage all citizens, regardless of whether they are farmers or businessmen, if they have indications of abuse and action outside the law, to report it immediately and action will be taken immediately,” said Minister Tripunovski.
