The person arrested for the murder of Ohrid resident Klime Mitreski (76) was an anesthesiology technician at the Clinic for Anesthesia, Resuscitation and Intensive Care, reported TV 24.
Unofficially, the suspect’s name is Zharko Grozdanovski (53) from Tetovo’s Brvenica.
Mitrevski, according to Ohrid media, owned real estate in the old part of Ohrid with an estimated value of more than a million euros, and was also the owner of the “Klimentov Konak” hospitality facility.
As previously reported, according to the PPO, the murder took place in Mitreski’s home on Nada Fileva Street in Ohrid. Zh.G. learned that the victim had already initiated proceedings to terminate the lifelong support agreement that they had concluded with a notary in February 2025. According to the agreement, the suspect was to receive a large estate after the victim’s death. But the victim had already taken action to terminate that contract.
After a verbal argument, Zh.G. physically assaulted Mitreski from behind and knocked him to the floor, after which he hit him on the head several times with his fist, and with the other hand held his mouth and nose shut so that he could not breathe.
