The latest public opinion survey by MKD.mk and the Market Vision agency shows that the citizens of Macedonia are mainly satisfied with the work of the mayors in their municipality (55.8%) and that they keep their promises. However, in all municipalities, citizens believe that the biggest problem is hygiene, followed by public transport, then urbanization, parking, stray dogs, air pollution, etc.
When asked whether they’re satisfied with the work of the Skopje mayor, half of the respondents (49%) responded affirmatively, while 44.6 percent were dissatisfied.
Almost two-thirds of the respondents responded that the mayor of the City of Skopje has started keeping the promises made in the local elections.
The survey shows that the citizens of Macedonia are mainly satisfied with the work of the mayors in their municipality (55.8%) and that they fulfill their promises.
However, in all municipalities, citizens believe that the biggest problem is hygiene, followed by public transportation, urbanization, parking, stray dogs, air pollution, etc.
Citizens also support a ban on smoking in public places (65.5%), while 26.8% do not support this planned measure.
