Macedonian Minister of Culture and Tourism Zoran Ljutkov visited Razlovci, together with the expert team from the National Conservation Center, and inspected the activities for the immediate protection of the Razlovci Uprising Memorial House, one of the most significant symbols of the resistance of the Macedonian people for freedom.

Today I am in Razlovci, where, together with the expert team from the National Conservation Center, we inspected the conservation and restoration works for the immediate protection of one of the most significant symbols of the resistance of the Macedonian people for freedom, the Razlovci Uprising Memorial House. This year, on May 20, we mark 150 years of the Razlovci Uprising, an anniversary that obliges us with even greater dedication to preserve and present our cultural and historical heritage with dignity,” said Minister Ljutkov.
As part of the complete renovation of the Memorial House, which had been abandoned for years, the existing Basic Conservation and Restoration Project was revised, its declaration as a cultural heritage site was made, as well as its immediate protection, which is in its final phase. Also, work is underway to set up a new museum exhibit that will tell the story of the uprising, the courage, the sacrifice and the significance of the Macedonian resistance in an authentic and educational way. The total value of the project is approximately MKD 21 million.
