Statistical data show that industrial production in Macedonia is declining.
In the period from September last year to the same month this year, work in industry fell by as much as eight percent. This situation is shown by the data of the State Statistical Office.
The numbers are unfavorable. Capital goods decreased by 41 percent, and there is a serious decline of 15 percent in the manufacturing industry.
The report shows that there is a decrease of 4.7 percent in food production, textile production decreased by 41 percent, and clothing by almost 23 percent.
The production of metals has decreased by 16 percent, and the production of machines and computer parts has decreased by nearly 44 percent.
