The retail price of diesel is set to drop by MKD 2.5 per liter as of Tuesday midnight, while the prices of unleaded fuels will drop by MKD 1.5, the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) said Tuesday.
According to the ERC decision, the retail prices of EUROSUPER BS-95 and EUROSUPER BS-98 gasoline are being reduced by 1.5 Mden/liter. Thus, the retail price of EUROSUPER BS-95 is 82 Mden/liter, while the retail price of EUROSUPER BS-98 is 84 Mden/liter.
The retail price of EURODIESEL (D-E V) is being reduced by 2.5 Mden/liter, and will be 95.5 Mden/liter.
The retail price of Extra Light Household Oil (EL-1) is being reduced by 3.5 Mden/liter, and will be 96.5 Mden/liter.
The retail price of Fuel Oil M-1 NS is reduced by 2.084 Mden/kg, and will amount to 49.227 Mden/kg.
The decision is explained by the decline in the reference prices of oil derivatives on the world market compared to the previous calculation, which for gasoline are an average of 2.703% or $29/ton, for diesel the decrease is an average of 3.251% or $47.5/ton, for extra light oil the decrease is an average of 3.960% or $55.7/ton and for fuel oil the decrease is an average of about 4.476% or $28.050/ton.
