The average monthly paid net salary per employee in April this year amounted to MKD 31,525 (EUR 512) and it increased by 10.9 percent compared to the same month last year, the State Statistical Office announced on Wednesday.
The increase is primarily due to the increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Accommodation and food service activities (24.8 percent), Arts, entertainment and recreation (20.1 percent) and Administrative and ancillary services (17 percent).
An increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee, compared to the previous month, was registered in the sectors: Health and social care activities (8.3 percent), Construction (5.6 percent) and Real estate activities (4.5 percent).
