The economy with the Government led by DimitarKovachevski is collapsing, and it is not lifting a finger to help the citizens and companies. Macedonia has the lowest growth in gross domestic product (GDP) in the second quarter of 2022 compared to all countries in the region, reads Monday’s press release from the opposition party VMRO-DPMNE.
“Macedonia has one of the highest inflation rates in Europe in July at 16 percent. Macedonian citizens pay the most expensive electricity in Europe, compared to the amount of salary.
According to EUROSTAT, Macedonian businessmen pay the most expensive price for electricity compared to companies in other countries of the region. Almost a quarter of the companies in Macedonia have not paid their July salaries. In the month of July, industrial production recorded a drop of 5 percent compared to the same month last year, which was also disastrous. In a word, the government of the anti-Macedonian SDS is leading the country to a total collapse”, reads VMRO-DPMNE’s press release.
