The director of the Sanctions Enforcement Administration, Jovica Stojanovikj, informed Wednesday night that three more employees of the Idrizovo state penitentiary were suspended after the escape of prisoner Bekim Memeti. The video surveillance of the prison was checked for two and a half hours, said Stojanovikj and added that the new three suspended are not only responsible for the escape, but also for the functioning of the entire building.
“What exactly happened, I wouldn’t be able to say, but the prison is well secured with cameras, walls, wires, and the only way to get out is with medical help or with the support of some employees,” Stojanovikj.
