VMRO-DPMNE MP: Filipche is grasping at straws, Bulgarians in the Constitution – no end to his personal interests

Filipche and the SDS leadership are behaving completely half-heartedly towards Bulgaria and official Sofia. They probably see this as the only way to come to power, notes Petrushevski

While the SDS leadership and their party leader Venko Filipche, known as Bulgaria’s special envoy to Macedonia or, in popular terms, a servant of official Sofia, only care about selling off everything Macedonian, the VMRO-DPMNE-led government thinks about the citizens and works every day for a better standard of living. The activities these days to attract foreign investors are an illustration in that direction, VMRO-DPMNE MP Brane Petrushevski told reporters Saturday.

Filipche and the SDS leadership are behaving completely half-heartedly towards Bulgaria and official Sofia. They probably see this as the only way to come to power, notes Petrushevski.

He adds that the current state leadership puts its own country Macedonia, its own language, identity and everything Macedonian in the first place.

“The policy being pursued is in the right direction, public opinion polls this week also showed. A high 80 percent are against the inclusion of Bulgarians in the Constitution under the dictate of official Sofia,” said Petrushevski.

“SDS must understand that promoting the idea of Bulgarians in the Constitution does not put an end to it, but only opens up a series of questions and problems for Macedonia. Until SDS comes to its senses, it will only sink deeper and deeper and is well on its way to destroying itself. That is why VMRO-DPMNE’s policies have the support of a large number of citizens. VMRO-DPMNE is doing things with dignity, and so it will be with Macedonia’s accession to the EU,” stressed ruling party representative Petrushevski.
