The process for the announced government reshuffle will take place today and tomorrow with meetings between VMRO-DPMNE and coalition partners ZNAM and VLEN, the government press service briefed Friday.

“Given that the talks are in an early phase and it is a sensitive process that requires a serious and responsible approach, we would not go into additional details at this time. As soon as specific agreements are reached and solutions defined, the public will be promptly and fully informed,”the Macedonian Government said.

What currently remains the unchanged position and clear principle of Prime Minister HristijanMickoski were the messages he publicly sent at the celebration of the 36th anniversary of VMRO-DPMNE inStrumica.

The Prime Minister noted then that he was closely monitoring the situation in the institutions and that he was not satisfied with the occurrences of some officials who were moving away from the principles on which the Government was formed.

He pointed out that he has received remarks about the insufficient availability of some ministers and directors, as well as their distancing from the everyday problems and needs of citizens.

Mickoski clearly stated that the Government was elected to serve the people, not to enjoy the privileges of power, adding that every official must be available, dedicated and constantly present among the citizens.

In his address, The PM stressed that he will not tolerate recklessness, irresponsibility and deviation from the principles on which the work of the Government is based, regardless of the function someone holds.

PM Mickoski also said that he does not accept excuses for failure to fulfill obligations and that anyone who cannot respond to the challenges should honestly reconsider their place in the team.

“I am precisely noting all deviations and there will be changes. These changes should improve capacities and give the maximum from each individual. I want each of you to remain dedicated to the people, accessible and honest,” Mickoski pointed out.

The basic criterion in the reshuffle process remains efficiency, accessibility to citizens, fulfillment of program goals and full dedication to work in the interest of the people, reads the Government’s press release.
