According to official data from the State Statistics Office (SSO), industrial production in 2026 recorded a growth of 7.6 percent compared to 2025. At the same time, cumulatively for 2026 industrial production is in the positive zone and records a growth of 0.2 percent.
But the essence is something else. In conditions when a large part of European economies are facing a slowdown in industrial activity, when industrial production in many countries is in the negative, Macedonia is in the positive.
This is not a coincidence. This is the result of a clear economic policy and direct support for domestic companies, VMRO-DPMNE MP Bojan Stojanoski told a party press conference Saturday.

“The Government provided a strong financial boost to the economy through a EUR 230 million credit line for domestic companies. These are funds that did not remain just a number on paper, but ended up in new investments, new equipment, expanded capacities, greater production and new opportunities for development,” said Stojanoski.
