Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski says in a statement to the media Saturday that the Government reshuffle will be formalized by the end of June, and he expects the list to be before the MPs by July 1. He assessed that Friday’s meeting with representatives of coalition partner VLEN went well, but did not provide details. However, he hinted that there will be a change of some ministers.
“All options are on the table. The meeting went well, we are discussing options on portfolio changes and I believe we will close the first part of the process rather soon. We are set to meet with ZNAM today and discuss all strong and weak points. Therefore, we will formalize everything by the end of next week so that the list reaches lawmakers by July 1,” said Mickoski.
According to the PM, the reshuffle will be followed by discussions on changes on the local level.
The Prime Minister announced that after the reconstruction, the process of changing management personnel will continue both in structures and at the local level.
“There’s also a large number of directors of public enterprises, and there are places where we can do better. We are satisfied with most of them, but there is room for improvement from the aspect of local offices. The process will continue over the summer, and we will also be active regarding the VMRO-DPMNE membership in parallel,” said PM and ruling VMRO-DPMNE leader Mickoski
