A neighboring country of Macedonia is spreading information that the EU should not help Macedonia financially, that all funds like the EU should be cut, because if it helps it, Macedonia will progress, and otherwise, if there are no EU funds for Macedonia, then it will come to the brink of bankruptcy, it will be forced to kneel, beg and in this way realize what is required of them, Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Thursday, citing information from multilateral and bilateral meetings, without revealing which neighboring country is spreading this thesis, and is a member of the EU.
In response to a parliamentary question about the accusations from the opposition that Macedonia is on the brink of bankruptcy, Mickoski says that these are precisely the theses of the Macedonian opposition.
“This is a very dangerous thesis that the opposition is spreading today. And the fact is that this government is servicing all the obligations undertaken by the previous government. They are not waiting a day, not a millimeter in any area, whether it is the Ministry of Interior, whether it is in defense or on some basis in other departments,” stressed the Macedonian PM.
