The Republic Crisis Management Center – Bitola reports the notification from the Center for Public Health – Prilep that according to samples taken on July 20, the water from the taps of St. Petka, Krajpatna gas station, the area of CreshovoTopche, StaraCrkva and the area under the Montana hotel (Municipality of Krushevo) is microbiologically unfit for drinking.
Krushevo-based Public Enterprise Communal Servicereports that, due to the bacteriological unfitness of the water, bottled water should be used for drinking, as well as for cooking and washing, it is recommended that the water be boiled for at least 10 minutes before use.
This announcement about water unfit for drinking comes after the huge problem in Gostivar and after the discovery of illegal levels of arsenic in Valandovo.
