Freight traffic suspended due to Greek customs officers’ strike on Monday

The Macedonian Ministry of Interior (MoI) informed that a strike of customs officers at the Greek border crossings of Evzoni (Bogorodica), Doirani (Dojran) and Niki (Medzitlija) has been scheduled on Monday, July 27.

According to information received from the competent authorities of Greece, the Ministry of Interior informs that in the period from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. Macedonian time (6 a.m.–10 a.m. Greek time), passenger vehicles will be allowed to pass every 10 minutes at the mentioned border crossings, while freight traffic will be completely suspended for entry and exit from Greece.

The MoI says that all measures will be taken and all human and technical capacities will be put into operation.
