The Institute for Democracy SocietasCivilis – Skopje presented the new digital platform Pratenici.mk, which provides citizens, reporters, researchers and civil society organizations with easier access to open data on the work of the Parliament.
The interactive panel converts the complex and technical formats of the parliamentary open data into clear and easily searchable information. Users can follow parliamentary questions, the activities of the MPs, the work of the citizen contact offices, as well as other indicators related to parliamentary work, with the ability to search, filter and compare data. The platform was developed based on the officially published open data of the Parliament.
The goal of the platform is to contribute to greater transparency and accountability of the Parliament, but also to show that open data has real value only when it is understandable and usable for the public.
