The opposition SDSM led by Venko Filipche resumes his series of spreading panic and hysteria among citizens. In doing so, the ignorance when it comes to data centers is visible, or maybe he just cares about personal interests. Filipche and SDSM should know that investments from individuals like the one in Pehchevo are one thing, and it is another when the state negotiates for the opening of such data centers, VMRO-DPMNE MP and Executive Committee member Mile Lefkov told a press briefing Friday.
“Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski also explained in public precisely how the procedure would proceed when it comes to the state. He clearly said that when the state takes an institutional step to build such a facility, everything will be presented publicly. The official information is that negotiations are underway with five or six potential investors. Of course, in doing so, there will be no compromise on what is meant by the living environment and standard of living of the citizens, which Filipche says he is concerned about. Is it possible that all of Filipche’s concerns are due to personal reasons? Did the concern arise at a moment when Filipche saw that it would not be possible for people close to him and his friend Zoran Zaev to deal with a series of manipulations, as they did when it came to marijuana,” the ruling party MP noted.
“We saw that Filipche, during the period when he was vacationing with Zaev in the Aegean, probably was having heatstroke issues, so he was disoriented. And now it seems like he’s the same, he only gets involved when his and Zaev’s business don’t go through,” added Lefkov.
