An earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale was registered Tuesday morning at 5:40 a.m. in the Ohrid-Struga epicenter area, about 135 kilometers southwest of Skopje.
The earthquake was felt in the southwestern parts of Macedonia, especially in Ohrid and the surrounding area, with an intensity of IV degrees on the European Macroseismic Scale, the Seismological Observatory at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje reported.
