SDS and DUI holdovers in the judiciary have once again acted in their favor, effectively shielding criminals, VMRO-DPMNE spokesperson Valentin Manasievski told a press briefing Sunday.
“The Supreme Court panel led by Afrim Fidani, Xhemaili Saiti, and Safet Kadrii overturned the verdict in the Laskarci case, in which 16 citizens lost their lives, thereby exonerating those responsible. I repeat: Afrim Fidani, Xhemaili Saiti, and Safet Kadrii overturned the court ruling, effectively absolving the perpetrators of the Laskarci traffic accident. Only in the Macedonian judiciary and prosecution could a case involving the deaths of 16 people result in absolutely no one being held accountable. The same applies to the modular hospital tragedy, where 14 people died, yet judicial authorities have found no one to blame. Furthermore, is it true that these judges are close to DUI structures?” Manasievski asked during the press briefing.
