To mark European Organ, Tissue, and Cell Donation Day (EDD), several buildings across the country will be illuminated in the color green Saturday, just as they were Friday night, as a symbol of hope, solidarity, and new life, the Ministry of Health announced.
Numerous cities and institutions have joined the initiative. The Macedonian Ministry of Health expresses its gratitude for this symbolic gesture of support for organ donation and transplantation.
“The light conveys the message that humanity can save lives. Every donor represents hope. Every ‘yes’ means a new life. Let us spread awareness, foster humanity, and offer hope for a new life!” reads the Ministry’s message for European Donation Day (EDD).
