VMRO-DPMNE accused the PE Parkings of the Municipality of Centar (POC), under the leadership of SDS cadres, of writing off debts worth over MKD 3 million in 2024 and demanded that the Municipality of Centar release the names of the individuals and companies whose liabilities were written off.
At a press conference, the head of the VMRO-DPMNE Centar, Lazar Banov, said that according to the audit report for 2024, MKD 2.221 million of debts from individuals and another MKD 912,000 of debts from companies were written off.
He pointed out that the audit report also stated that due to the write-off, personal income tax in the amount of about 247 thousand denars should have been calculated.
Banov called on the management of POC, director Dushko Kocevski and the mayor of the Municipality of Centar, Goran Gerasimovski, to publicly announce the names of the individuals and companies whose debts were written off. VMRO-DPMNE claims that the funds, if collected, could have been used for the implementation of infrastructure projects, the construction of kindergartens, schools, parks and sports facilities in the Municipality of Centar.
