The VMRO-DPMNE-led Government is pursuing responsible economic policies and managing public finances stably, and the measures and policies are yielding concrete results that are measurable and are felt by citizens in their family budgets. In just two years of the VMRO-DPMNE government, the average net wage has increased from MKD 40,496 to MKD 48,779, according to data from the State Statistics Office (SSO). That is approx. MKD 9,000 more for workers, VMRO-DPMNE said Saturday.

“The nominal growth of wages in 2024 was 12.6%, and in 2025 the growth continued at 9.6%. This year, an additional increase of more than 8% is expected. Unlike the SDS period when there was a decline of 2.9% in 2022, in 2024 wages increased by 8.8% and in 2025 by an additional 5.3%,” the ruling party noted.
