Skopje Mayor Orce Gjorgievski said Friday that the procedure for 100 buses has been re-announced and is expected to be successfully completed, in parallel with the plans for the introduction of a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT).
“The procedure for 100 buses was re-announced today, I sincerely hope that this time it will be successful. In order for the city not to be dependent only on the central government, the government will provide 100 buses, but I am starting the BRT project very soon, for which the city will provide 40 buses,” said Mayor Gjorgievski.
Regarding the implementation of the BRT system, the capital’s mayor said that the administrative procedures are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
