Next Saturday, the external matriculation exams for more than 14,500 students who are graduating from secondary education in the 2025/2026 academic year will begin. In line with the amendments to the Law on Secondary Education, this year, graduates will take three types of matriculation exams – state matriculation, state vocational matriculation and state artistic matriculation.
For each exam (subject) of the types of matriculation, separate exam programs have been developed, on the basis of which the exam questions have been prepared. The State Examination Center (DIC), which organizes and conducts the matriculation exam, points out that these exam programs are based on the curricula that students followed during their four-year education.
Out of a total of 14,587 students registered to take the high school graduation exam, 12,184 registered to take the state high school graduation exam, 2,276 students registered for the state vocational high school graduation exam, and 127 registered for the state artistic high school graduation exam.
