Rade Trajkovski a.k.a Shtekli was sentenced today to eight years in prison in the Skopje Criminal Prison for drug trafficking.

The Trial Chamber at the Skopje Criminal Court found Trajkovski guilty of organizing a group for trafficking in narcotics – cocaine and marijuana.

Initially, the case involved 16 people, seven of whom entered into a plea agreement and received prison sentences of 3 to 3.5 years, while four pleaded guilty and the proceedings for them were separated.

“The evidence was publicly presented, and the PI measures showed the way the group operated. They were motivated by quick and easy money,” said Judge Ilija Trpkov, who is leading this procedure.
He also explained that the drugs were sold in apartments in Skopje, and were packaged in grams. The price was from 4,000 to 6,000 per gram of cocaine, and the group gave the money to Shtekli, and he gave them a reward for it.

According to the indictment, the group operated in the period from January 2024 to January 2025 and was well organized, with clearly defined roles – from purchasing to selling cocaine and marijuana.
