The bomb threats in several schools in Skopje are false, the Macedonian Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Wednesday.
“Today (29.04.2026) a message was received at the Ministry of Interior’s email address with a threat of explosive devices planted in several schools in Skopje. Immediately after the report was received, appropriate measures and activities were taken by police officers in and around the schools, and it was determined that this was a false report of bombs planted,” the Ministry of Interior said in a press release.
