The Customs Administration achieved its historical highest monthly revenue collection of MKD 14.14 billion in July, which is MKD 1.5 billion or 11.8 percent more than in July last year.
The Customs Administration director Boban Nikolovski says that such data is proof that the system that has been built in the past two years increases the state’s ability to generate higher revenues.
“The most significant aspect of the fact that for the fourth time in the last two years we have exceeded records in revenue collection at a historical level – starting from over MKD 12 billion in July last year and now over MKD 14 billion is not the number itself but the trend it reflects. This is proof that successes are not isolated cases, but the result of the efficiency of the system that we have been building in the past two years. Such a system allows us to generate higher revenues and deliver better living conditions for citizens,” Nikolovski pointed out.
