Damage caused by Skopje storm to be reimbursed by competent institutions

In Tuesday’s storm, as the Ministry of Interior informed, the facilities of the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office, the Vila Vodno presidential complex, the Petrovec Airport Police Base, the Nova Makedonija building, as well as the facilities of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Public Prosecutor's Office (PPO) were also damaged

Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski asked by reporters regarding the storm that hit Skopje on Tuesday, noted that the mayors with their teams and companies went out into the field and repaired the damage.

“Repair after the devastating storm continues today. The damage will be determined and, in line with the law and past experience, all of it will be reimbursed by the competent institutions,” the Prime Minister pointed out.

He adds that the Government has mechanisms for assistance, as in any natural disaster.

A total of 33 people sought medical assistance (a total of 33 from the Emergency Clinical Center and the St. Naum Ohridski Surgical Diseases Clinic) after the storm. Damage was registered to facilities of vital importance to the Government.

In Tuesday’s storm, as the Ministry of Interior informed, the facilities of the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Vila Vodno presidential complex, the Petrovec Airport Police Base, the Nova Makedonija building, as well as the facilities of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) were also damaged.

There was also damage to the September 8th General Hospital, as well as the Shtip Hospital.
