Judge Daniela Dimovska has been elected President of the Skopje Basic Criminal Court at Wednesday’s session of the Judicial Council.
The decision was made following a public announcement procedure, to which two candidates submitted applications – Daniela Dimovska, judge and acting president of the Skopje Basic Criminal Court, and Ivica Stefanovski, also a judge in the Skopje Basic Criminal Court.
The chair of the Selection Commission, Ivica Nikolovski, informed that both applications were in order and the candidates passed the scheduled tests and interviews. After the adoption of the report and the voting, Dimovska was elected president.
Dimovska was elected acting president of the Skopje Basic Criminal Court a year ago. She was previously a judge in the Department for Organized Crime and Corruption within the same court.
